Check-in Time: 8:50am-9:20am*

*Due to the large number of students that attend New Student Orientation on our Edinburg campus, you will be assigned a check in time between 8:50am-9:20am. You will receive your assigned check in time via text the evening before your orientation date. If you do not receive a text message with an assigned time, please check in anytime between 8:50am-9:20am.

Orientation Duration: 9:30am-5:00pm

Attire: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and be cognizant of the weather.

Before You Attend New Student Orientation:

Please make sure to log into your ASSIST account as soon as possible to ensure you do not have any holds that would prevent you from enrolling in classes. If you have have not submitted your proof of meningitis vaccination or if you have not submitted any requested TSIA scores prior to your orientation date, please bring a physical copy with you to your New Student Orientation even if you have already submitted them just to be safe. Students that are missing their Meningitis Vaccination documentation or any requested TSIA scores will not be able to enroll in classes and should reschedule their orientation 

If you need to reschedule your orientation date or if you need to cancel, please log back into the orientation reservation system to do so. If you do not reschedule or cancel your orientation date at least three days prior, you will still be responsible for the $75 orientation fee. To cancel your Orientation, fill out this short form.

Students will be assigned a group when they check into New Student Orientation.
